Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 18, 2026  ·  Bakan Marketing LLC

1. Who We Are

Bakan Marketing LLC ("Bakan Marketing," "we," "us," or "our") is a fractional marketing operations firm that builds closed-loop attribution systems, manages paid media, and provides SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) services for service-area businesses. Our principal place of business is in Texas, and our website is bakanmarketing.com.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@bakanmarketing.com.

2. Data We Collect

2a. Information you give us directly

When you fill out our contact form or book a call, we collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Business name, website URL, and service type
  • Any message or context you include
  • The specific service you're inquiring about (if selected)

We use this to respond to your inquiry and, with your permission, to send periodic updates about our work. We do not add you to a marketing list without your explicit opt-in.

2b. Automatically collected data

When you visit bakanmarketing.com, we collect standard web analytics data including:

  • Pages visited and time on page
  • Referral source (how you found us)
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Approximate geographic location (city/country level)
  • UTM parameters from ad campaigns or links you clicked

This data is collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and is used to understand which content is valuable and how visitors find us. We do not sell this data.

2c. Client business data (service engagements)

For active clients, we may access and process additional data to perform our services, including but not limited to:

  • Ad account performance data (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
  • CRM records and lead/job data (e.g., FieldRoutes, ServiceTitan)
  • Search Console and GA4 property data
  • Google Business Profile signals
  • Revenue and conversion data used to close the attribution loop

This data is governed by separate client agreements and is used exclusively to optimize performance and build attribution reporting for that client. We do not share one client's data with another client, ever.

3. Meta Developer Applications

Bakan Marketing operates registered Meta (Facebook) developer applications as part of our paid media and attribution infrastructure. These apps are used exclusively for client work — not for scraping, bulk data collection, or any purpose outside of authorized ad management.

What our Meta apps do

  • Campaign management at scale — Our apps connect to client Meta Ads accounts via the Marketing API to automate campaign creation, budget adjustments, audience updates, and creative rotation. This allows us to act quickly on attribution signals without manual platform delays.
  • Conversion event tracking — We use the Meta Conversions API (CAPI) to send server-side conversion events (calls, form fills, booked jobs) from client CRMs directly to Meta, improving match rates and signal quality beyond what the pixel alone can achieve.
  • Custom reporting — We pull campaign performance data via the Insights API to build custom attribution dashboards. These reports combine Meta spend and impression data with GA4, CRM, and revenue data to show closed-loop cost-per-booked-job metrics — not just cost-per-click.
  • Audience and creative automation — We build and refresh custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and creative tests through the API to keep accounts optimized without requiring manual intervention on the ad platform.

What our Meta apps do not do

  • Access personal Facebook or Instagram profiles or content
  • Read private messages or user data outside of authorized ad account scope
  • Store individual user-level ad interaction data in our own systems
  • Share client ad data with third parties outside the client engagement

All use of Meta's developer platform complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Meta's Advertising Policies. Clients grant us access to their ad accounts through Meta's standard Business Manager permission system — we never request credentials directly.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and proposals
  • Deliver contracted marketing services
  • Build and maintain attribution models and custom reports for clients
  • Improve our website and understand how visitors engage with our content
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for purposes beyond what is described here without obtaining explicit consent first.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — We use third-party tools (SendGrid for email delivery, Google Analytics for web analytics, Vercel for hosting) that process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
  • Platform APIs — For client work, we transmit conversion data to Meta and Google via their official APIs, as described in Section 3.
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose data if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. These include:

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — to understand traffic patterns and content performance.
  • UTM parameter capture — to track which campaigns or referrals drive website visits and inquiries.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Note that disabling analytics cookies doesn't affect your ability to use the site.

7. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 3 years or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. Client engagement data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus 2 years, or as required by applicable law.

Web analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings (14 months for event-level data).

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for EU/UK residents)

To exercise any of these rights, email info@bakanmarketing.com with your name and request. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, restricted API key access, and role-based permissions for all platform integrations. Access to client ad accounts is managed through Meta's and Google's Business Manager systems — we never store platform login credentials.

No method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have concerns about data security, contact us directly.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email if you are an active client or have opted into our mailing list.
